Ladle car turntable

The ladle turret supports and rotates ladles between the receiving and pouring stations. The heavy-duty welded structure of the turret arm and base ensures support for a full ladle of molten steel while also accounting for impact loads. The turret is driven by an AC motor during normal operation and a hydraulic motor during emergency situations.
