Four-machine four-stream crystallizer

The mold is a continuous casting equipment that receives molten steel injected from the tundish and solidifies it into a solid shell with a specified cross-sectional shape. It is the most crucial component of the continuous casting machine, and its structure, material, and performance parameters play a decisive role in the quality of the cast billet and the production capacity of the casting machine.

The function of the mold:
Gradually solidify the molten steel into a billet shell of the required specifications and shape.
(2) By vibrating the mold, the shell of the billet is separated from the mold wall without being torn or causing a steel leak.
(3) By adjusting the parameters of the mold, defects such as out-of-square, bulging and cracking of the cast billet can be prevented.
(4) Ensure the uniform and stable formation of the shell of the billet.
